Job Overview

Wings Technical Services is seeking experienced Painters for an offshore oil and gas project in Qatar. Candidates must have hands-on experience in industrial painting, surface preparation, and protective coating applications. Applicants should be familiar with painting tools, spray equipment, primers, industrial coatings, and relevant safety procedures. Offshore project experience is mandatory. Requirements: - Minimum 3–5 years of relevant industrial painting experience. - Previous offshore project experience is mandatory. - Experience in surface preparation, rust removal, and protective coating applications. - Knowledge of industrial paints, primers, and coating specifications. - Familiarity with painting tools, spray equipment, and safety procedures. - Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are an advantage. - Valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory. - Candidates must be locally available in Qatar. - Must be physically fit and available for offshore deployment. - Immediate joining preferred. Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, grinding, and rust removal.
• Apply primers, industrial paints, and protective coatings according to project specifications.
• Prepare and mix paints in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
• Operate spray painting equipment, brushes, rollers, and other painting tools safely.
• Inspect surfaces before painting and check completed work for coating quality and uniformity.
• Follow approved painting procedures, method statements, and coating specifications.
• Identify surface defects and report any quality issues to the supervisor.
• Comply with offshore safety standards, permit-to-work procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and good housekeeping at the worksite.
